Spaghetti per gli denti nuovi

Fresh ingredients: courgettes

Stored ingredients: garlic, olives, parmesan, spaghetti

Cut the courgettes into cubes (tradition would be slices) and fry in olive oil and some basil. Put the spaghetti on to cook and a couple of minutes before it's ready add chopped olives and garlic to the frying pan.

Drain the spaghetti and then add to the frying pan and mix well, serve covered in parmesan.

The quantities we used last time were four medium courgettes, half a dozen olives and four cloves of garlic.
