Fresh ingredients: spinach, cream (or full-cream milk), cheese, butter/margarine
Stored ingredients: garlic, nutmeg, pasta (or rice, in fact)
Boil the spinach. When it's cooked, take it out and then cook the pasta in the juice of the spinach plus some salt.
While the pasta is cooking, chop the spinach and fry with margarine or butter and crushed garlic, then put in some full-cream milk or cream and grated cheddar cheese, nutmeg and black pepper.
Drain the pasta if there's plenty of sauce (if it's a bit dry, add some back in) and throw it in with the fried spinach for a couple of minutes before serving.
You can make a similar dish with rice instead of pasta - this has the added fun of making a green mush which you can play with on the plate.
