Risotto

No prizes for knowing that these dishes have rice in them.

For some reason, Italians don't believe in kettles, so they will put a second pan on the stove for a supply of boiling water. Since the electric kettle has been discovered in England, the process there is easier.

The basic recipe for risotto is to fry the ingredients quickly, add the rice and fry that around a little too, then add some boiling water. Add more boiling water a little at a time as required as the rice cooks.
