Scacciatelle di broccoli

Fresh ingredients: broccoli, mushrooms, cheese (eg double gloucester, cheddar)

Stored ingredients: black olives, bread flour (preferably wholemeal), plum tomatoes

Make dough like for bread (preferably wholemeal). If you buy flour that's meant for bread there's usually a recipe on it.

Boil the broccoli.

Slice the mushrooms and fry with black olives in olive oil.

Make a sauce with plum tomatoes, salt, sugar and pepper.

Slice some double gloucester, and then make the pasties, adding some of each of the fillings before folding up and putting in a hot oven (gas mark 8).
