Fresh ingredients: spinach, cream (or full-cream milk), cheese, butter/margarine
Stored ingredients: garlic, nutmeg, rice
Boil the spinach. When it's cooked, take it out and then cook the rice in the juice of the spinach plus some salt.
While the rice is cooking, chop the spinach and fry with margarine or butter and crushed garlic, then put in some full-cream milk or cream and grated cheddar cheese, nutmeg and black pepper.
Drain the rice if there's plenty of sauce (if it's a bit dry, add some back in) and throw it in with the fried spinach for a couple of minutes before serving.
