Are you ready for a hUJe weekend? Perhaps that should be
ENORMOUS! As well as checking out the party details, make sure to
take a look at the people on the new flyer... it could be you! On Friday night we also launch the hUJe stall, with
laughing gas & hot drinks as well as posters, CDs, earplugs etc

In this week's mail (weekend of Friday 15 April)
So, there are the details of this FRIDAY's hUJe and Saturday
afternoon, plus Ualda plays at Essential (our official
between-party) on Saturday morning and there's Twist on Sunday
morning too. Also, hUJe bum2bum (Ualda b2b hUJe John)
play at Vital in George 4 on Sunday afternoon... 12.30pm-10pm - we
play about 2pm. On Friday night you'll be able to buy 21-hour party
tickets that get you into hUJe Friday night, Essential @414 AND hUJe
Saturday afternoon (prices below). A reminder to look out
for the posters combining four of the flyers with people's
pictures on, and if you want your own you'll be able to buy it from
us at hUJe (see
below). Finally, if you haven't collected your hUJe
bum2bum CD from us yet, make sure to ask for one.

Music to put a smile on your feet - energetic uplifting hard
dance - in surroundings you won't recognise.
We've been getting such a lot of grief about more
night-time parties from hUJe people that can't make it along to
Saturday afternoons, that we had to find a more regular way of
putting them on. We'll carry on doing Saturday afternoon each week,
and 18 hour specials from time to time, but we're also starting a
regular Friday night event - one per month, on the third Friday.
We've arranged with Essential at Club 414 for them to be our
official between-party so that you can carry on partying with us in
central Brixton right through from Friday night to Saturday evening.
For the launch party we're delighted to be joined by
Jana of Rush
As well as the
full-on night-time party-vibe of the 18 hour specials and creating a
unique environment with our individual decor, we'll be bringing in
laughing gas and the renowned NRG light & colour laser show by Clubtek.it
to drive the dancefloor... and revelling
in playing on the recently-upgraded 3rd Base soundsystem.

Now things get really silly! With the launch of hUJe
Friday nights the night before, we'll be cracking on for the
afternoon in the same room... after a short respite across the road
in the 414. Don't forget you can buy 21-hour party tickets on the
door on Friday night.
We're drafting in extra help on the decks too; the
welcome return of Matt E and Tony K and Lisa London making her
debut. With their energy to charge the floor it promises to be a mad
afternoon; we can't wait!
Once again we'll be bringing in
extra lighting by Clubtek.it to
drive the dancefloor, revelling in playing on a proper sound
system... and of course transforming the place as only we can with
our individual decor.

We've made up A3 posters as shown on the left,
featuring the flyer fronts which are nearly double (in area
terms) the original size - i.e. just under A5. We're going to
be using them for promotion, so keep an eye out for them
around.
We're sure that people are going to want
their own copies too, but they cost us too much just to give
away so we're going to be selling them at hUJe both plain
and laminated (so you can get them home without destroying
them). Prices are £2 plain (3 for a fiver) £3.50
laminated (3 for £9). |
