Great to see loads of you over the previous couple of
weekends for our 18 and 21 hour marathons EVEN MORE PIX UP... hope you had a good sunny bank holiday weekend (well,
most of it anyway) - see you Saturday afternoon if not before!
Some sad news - we've scrapped the hUJe
cab which was totally rotten underneath... but we're on the hunt for
another. In the meantime, any offers of help with flyering or
crewing would be even more welcome than usual as it was our only
transport.

In this week's mail (weekend of Saturday 4 June)
This Friday night I (John) am playing warm-up at
FlashBak: 10pm-11pm so get down there early! Carrying on the theme
we've Tony K playing at hUJe on Saturday afternoon...
where we'll also have discount entry vouchers for Twisted Spice at
the Fridge Saturday night. After that there's Twist in their
new venue The Factory (fka Club Supreme) on Sunday
morning. There's a new hUJe Saturdays flyer hitting the streets this
weekend so make sure to get hold of one and check if you're on
it!
We're going to be continuing to
offer discounts for Friday nights & special occasions on this
list and the SMS one, so if you don't get our messages directly,
make sure to let us know so you don't miss out.

Friday June 17th - Friday Night gets
hUJer
Next month, hUJe Friday night moves to the main
"theatre" room upstairs in Mass. There will be lots more
production with colour & green lasers, lightshow, video
projections laid on as well as tea and gas stall, massage, cushions
and the fab decor we're known for.
In fact, Friday nights are going to be MASSive every week!
There'll be hUJe, Skwosh, FlashBak and Synchronicity (a Chichime
promotion) doing a Friday in June each at Mass.

There are now even more pictures up from May's Friday
night/Saturday and the 18 hour special - no new ones from me so just
a link to the hUJe website pictures page where you can get to
all of them. Sorry that my and Ivan's pictures of Ualda's
birthday still aren't up - I've been busy with putting
lots of you on the new flyer... and I'm going to be sorting out all
your pictures for the video projections for Friday night so that
takes priority.

TWIST London's No1 afterparty grows stronger
week by week and last weeks launch at our new home - Factory, proved
a resounding success.
This week we begin our 'Girlyshow' season and welcome
all the way from from Australia, Miss Tracey. Look out for Cally
Gage, Lucy Fur and Little Gem over the next few
weeks.
For those that missed the launch last week, you will
be suprised and delighted by our new home which is far more suited
to an after hours than Fire. It has excellent chil out areas with
lots and lots of comfy seating, 2 rooms with balcony levels and of
course we have installed our own supersound
system.
The Generator room will see Tomy Four Seven
joined by 2 special guests.

We've made up A3 posters as shown on the left,
featuring the flyer fronts which are nearly double (in area terms)
the original size - i.e. just under A5. We're going to be using them
for promotion, so keep an eye out for them around.
We're sure that people are going to want their
own copies too, but they cost us too much just to give away
so we're going to be selling them at hUJe both plain and
laminated (so you can get them home without destroying them).
Prices are £2 plain (3 for a fiver) £3.50 laminated (3 for
£9). |
