Sadly, there was an incident early last Saturday morning at George4 (not at hUJe) when someone was attacked with a penknife - fortunately he's expected to be OK. The venue has been closed for 28 days at the request of the police.

Some of you may have heard that we organised another venue (the Dance Industry Studio) for this week; we subsequently learnt that Brixton tube is going to be shut 8-17 April. We've decided that moving to a bigger venue that many of our people don't know at the last minute and when there are transport problems is a bad idea, so we've cancelled it. We've another Round the Clock planned later in the summer, lets look forward to making that a success.

We expect the George to be open again in time for Ualda's birthday at the beginning of May;  this gives you plenty of time to sort out a hUJe t-shirt to wear! The new flyer may become a collector's item as most of the dates on it aren't valid! Check it out on the hUJe flyers page from which you can also get to the new hUJe T-shirts of which there are lots of different designs Follow this link Don't forget you can now get the flyers on mousemats and various other stuff

its going to be hUJe

In this week's mail (weekend of Saturday 8 April)

So there's no hUJe, but there are still some things to do in Brixton this weekend; Total Mayhem in the Fridge on Friday night and Baklash on Saturday morning. Further afield, Menthol relaunch parties with Disfunktion at the Factory, but our weekly daytime chums Twist also find themselves without a venue at the moment.

Don't Stay In is a fast-growing internet site for clubbers, based around parties and pictures of them. If you don't like other sites, you'll find that on DSI the party groups are a bit more separate and there's less general nastiness. If you join the hUJe group on DSI your name will automatically be added to the concession list for all hUJe events - so it's worth doing even if you never go back

Some promotions have built a big group quickly by adding their whole mailing list without permission. I prefer asking - just reply and I'll send you an invitation to DSI and our group - or use the mailing form on our website.

Next special dates for your diary:

...we'll keep you posted but we hope to be back May 6

We now seem to have lots of people publishing pictures on the internet (just as well, given my record!), so check out the links on our website photos page. Here are links to the most recently updated pix and our photo page:
