Thanks everyone for turning out for Ualda's birthday last week - she had lots of cards and presents and much to everyone's surprise was still able to play her birthday b2b with Faster Toni last set!

This week we've another special occasion; it's the first time Danny Tappenden of Sundaze has played with us and Vital's Matt Rush is also back after a long time.

If you didn't meet Ualda & Stelvio's mum, it's now too late, but here's a picture instead!

its going to be hUJe

In this week's mail (weekend of Saturday 13 May)

As well as hUJe back at the George, we've info on this week's Twist and Total Mayhem for which we hope the Fridge will reopen on Friday - if so,  Ualda & I are playing. Menthol's on on Saturday night too. Don't forget Twist has moved back to Vauxhall - now at Crash - which is next door to the Factory, and by all accounts it's a much better venue for Twist than anywhere else.

Don't Stay In is a fast-growing internet site for clubbers, based around parties and pictures of them. If you don't like other sites, you'll find that on DSI the party groups are a bit more separate and there's less general nastiness. If you join the hUJe group on DSI your name will automatically be added to the concession list for all hUJe events - so it's worth doing even if you never go back

Some promotions have built a big group quickly by inviting their whole mailing list. This isn't the way we work, but if you want an easier way to join, reply asking for an invite. The DSI group is a great way to keep in touch.

We now seem to have lots of people publishing pictures on the internet (just as well, given my record!), so check out the links on our website photos page. Time for me to grovel again, I've not got any of the recent ones up yet:

Music to put a smile on your feet - energetic uplifting hard dance - in surroundings you won't recognise.

Back to the George once again and this week we've got Matt Rush back with us for the first time in ages, helping to vitalise your afternoon feet. We've also got Danny Tappenden taking a spot behind our decks instead of on the dancefloor for the first time, so it's certainly a day to look forward to.

TWIST @ CRASH - Sunday morning
£10 on the door / £8 with flyer or £6 guest list by emailing 6guestlist@twistclub.co.uk
hUJe member price £6 with card

Last weeks party had the Twist hardcore saying Crash is the best venue Twist has been in and feels like home and we return this week with long time Twist resident Karim heading up the fun.

For those of you not familiar with the venue, Crash was the club which kick started the whole Vauxhall club scene and was host to Frantic's Convergence, Superfish and Tasty. The venue still retains the same dark underground feel but now boasts some of the best sound and lights to be found in the Capital
and is perfectly suited to Twist.

Come along and see for yourself as Karim, Red and Blue, Danny Gilligan, Tom Basquil ignite the dance floor and Tommy Four Seven and Steelo christen the Arcade room at Crash.
